Firefox worked fine until it updated to update 66, now when I reboot the computer, it will not load any pages, it just hangs, whether private or public browsing, refreshing profile did not fix this. Only way to mitigate this is with restart with add ons disabled.
Oct 18, 2011 · Whenever i open firefox and try to go certain sites it does not load. I am only able to go google.com quickly. Every other site either keeps loading or when it does load it does not load properly. I suggest you do a quick troubleshooting step of using Firefox Profile Manager and create a new 'Test' profile and launch Firefox in that and go to Yahoo and Zoopla, but do *not* disable any plug ins. That shouldn't take more than 2 minutes (yes I really do mean 2 and not 10 minutes!). For nearly a week now I have been forced to use IExplorer as Firefox will not load any websites. It is not an internet connection issue because IE works fine. The Firefox browser opens up but only to reveal a blank, white page. MTU 1472 for Wi-Fi worked for me, left all others at 1500! Odd that our cell phones, Android TV box, smart TV, etc. have no issues loading web pages with wifi, only this desktop’s wifi connection had an issue. We use NordVPN but DID NOT have to use alternate DNS, either in Windows nor in NordVPN app. Thanks so much—woohoo! If you try to load a website and you see a blank screen, your browser might be the issue.
