I just got internet installed If it's for better pricing, great, but I don't know what any consumer would need 1Gbps Internet speed for. I work for a major corp and most of our point to point speeds for branch offices are only 100-300Mbps, which is more than enough. We only have a 1Gbps link between two data centers, so I never understand why residences need this speed today.
